New Pillows on the Website!
We've
just posted photos of new pillows in our online store, to
replace the first batch that sold out. Thanks so much for all the
wonderful comments about the pillows. Linda is delighted that so
many of you
are finding new ways to embellish your homes with these fabulous
accessories. If you are not sure how to use pillows in various ways in
your
home, here are a few tips:
Lively Living Rooms
Make
your home's color scheme flow from room to room with
pillows. Use neutral pillows to ground a colorful palette, or
colorful pillows to enliven a neutral palette. Emphasize scale by
choosing
the right size pillows.
Beautifully Embellished Bedrooms
Combine
colors, textures and patterns to create layers of luxurious
comfort and drama. Choose pillows that bring out the colors in your
linens, or create a unique and comfy headboard by stacking pillows
against the
wall.
Outdoor Pillow Possibilities
These
are the new outdoor accessory. Soften your outdoor rooms with
pillows that look like they belong inside. Complement the colors in
your garden, and bring the colors from your indoor rooms outside to
connect the
spaces visually.
Pillows as Art, Art as Pillows
Unique, hand made pillows are pieces of art that can stand alone,
combine to make an artistic statement, or accent your existing art.

Pillow Vignettes
and FAQs !
Need
some inspiration on how to embellish your rooms with
pillows? We just added eight photos of indoor and outdoor
vignettes showcasing some of the new pillows that are now
available in our online store. The photos demonstrate various ways to combine
colors, textures and patterns when selecting pillows for your home.
It might also be helpful to hear the answers to some of the Frequently
Asked Questions we've received about the pillows before you place your order:
Q. I'm nervous about buying things for my home online because the
colors might not be what I'm expecting. What if it's the wrong color?
A.
Most of the fabrics in our pillows are available as swatches free of
charge, so you can look before you buy. If you'd like to receive a
swatch
of one or more pillows, go to our website's online store and follow
the instructions listed after the current pillow selection, or just call or e-mail us for information.

Q. I have had really good luck with the Sunbrella fabric on my patio
furniture, but your website doesn't specify what brand of outdoor fabric you use on your outdoor pillows. Is it Sunbrella?
A.
The new outdoor materials are amazing. We use a number of different
brands of fabric and trims, including Sunbrella, Perennials, Michael
Taylor and Brown Jordan. They are all of similar
excellent quality,
extremely durable and weather resistent. If you like your
Sunbrella furniture, you will not be disappointed with the performance
of our outdoor
pillows. Please make sure you use only pillows marked "Outdoor" for
exterior use. (It's hard to tell the interior pillows from the exterior
ones,
these new fabrics are so beautiful.)
Q. Your pillows are exquisite and people should know they are actually
more gorgeous in person than they are on the website! I bought
one and could kick myself for not getting the other one I liked, and
now it's
gone. Can I order a specific pillow, or one to match the one I bought?
A. Each pillow is unique, but many of them use similar fabrics and trims
in different combinations. Please call or e-mail
our office with your request
and we will let you know what is available in a matching or coordinated
fabric. And you know what I'm going to say: don't match them, have
fun
with different combinations! |

Seminar Schedule
Linda has been very busy with final plans for the book, but she is thinking
about the next seminar. Two items are in the works at this time:
-
While
Linda does plan to do more seminars in Sausalito, she is
considering Santa Fe, NM as a possible location for a seminar in
the Summer or Fall of 2007. So many of you have contacted us from
the
Southwest that we think it might be a great starting place for
taking her presentation on the road. Plus, Santa Fe is a fabulous
destination for
visiting from any part of the country, with its wonderful culture and
incredible scenery and artwork. Please let us know if you're
interested, and give us your advice on getting the word out so we
can confirm the event as soon as possible. Thanks!
